Right now I am a freshman at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I'm from Colorado and decided to go to CU mostly just because it was in-state. The other schools I looked at and were accepted to my Senior Year of High School were Pepperdine, Texas Christian University, Tulane, and University of Denver. I have the grades and extra-curriculars to be accepted to moderately difficult schools, but I wasn't accepted to Duke, which is harder. I'm thinking of transfering from CU in a year or two. I know it's in-state and the campus is beautiful and it's a great public school but I just feel like 30,000 students is too big. I'm interested in a smaller school (maybe 15,000 max). I'm also leaning toward an out-of-state school, possibly on the east coast or in the south where it doesn't snow as much as it does in Colorado. Are there any suggestions as to where I should transfer? I'm thinking of majoring in English or Journalism, or maybe something Political Science related. Thanks!!... Read More »
